BECOME A VOLUNTEER

· Move items to designated locations

· Assemble items

· Organize items

· Ensure grounds are tidy

· Welcome everyone to the event

· Make sure everyone with a pet signs a waiver

· Sell tickets at entrance

· Give everyone who pays a wristband

· Help direct people where to find things if asked

·  Oversee designated area and volunteers

· Handle money (if required)

· Communicate with organizers (as required)

· Keep area tidy

· Help with the paw print paintings

· Help with the nose paintings

· Give out paint trays and sponges

· Oversee ball pit – remove broken balls and put balls back in that come out

· Help make sure pools have clean water in them

· Be prepared to get dirty and soaked

· Help with registration of dogs for contests

· Make sure all materials are needed at the locations

· Help getting judges situated and contest participants organized

· Keep water bowls and poop bag rolls filled

· Pick up garbage (and poop if any is not picked up by owners)

· Keep picnic tables and areas near food vendors clean

· Empty garbages if they become full

· Keep the grounds looking tidy (reset things that may fall over or have been moved)

· Keep bathrooms tidy and stocked with toilet paper and paper towel

· Help direct people where to find things if asked

· Direct people where to park

· Make sure people use the correct entrance and exit when entering/leaving

· Direct attendees to the event entrance

· Pick up garbage in the parking area
